But every so often, the universe conspires to rearrange our reality, reminding us there are more powerful forces at work. If we accept change as inevitable, we prefer to have it served up in tiny portions – so tiny we can pretend they don’t even exist.

How do you instill a sense of common purpose in a company with operations all over the world? Nynas chose to create an image using the signatures of its employees – from the greenest rookie all the way to the CEO. It depicts something everyone can relate to, no matter where they work. The image will be reproduced and displayed at Nynas offices, depots and refineries around the world. To see the result, click on the images.
This week Nynas is rolling out a global campaign to clarify the company’s core values. The values are based on key factors that have made Nynas a global leading company, and which will now equip Nynas for future growth.

Every so often a new word comes along that takes every conference room by storm. Proactive is a recent example. There’s hardly an office canteen not packed with earnest-looking people imploring each other – and everybody within earshot – to be proactive. It doesn’t seem to matter what you say (or write) as long as it contains the magic word.
